Politics, Crime, love, & hate.

The Conspiracy Theory. 

I love them. The time, effort and amount of research it takes to develop a solid conspiracy theory is amazing to me. I don't personally believe or even entertain all that I come across while doing research, but man the energy and creative development that goes into a good one. Kudos. If one tenth of the writers in the world took the time of a good conspiracy theorist to develop their story, we would have some great literature over flowing our libraries. Oh, wait, we do! 

Our Politicians. 

Living in the United States right now is surreal. I heard stories about WWII, Vietnam, and gulf war from friends and family, but never in my almost 52 years would I believe as female citizen in the U.S. right now, that I would have less rights than I did when I was born in 1974. Let's be real here. Some of our politicians are 25-40 year career politicians. Which means we know who they are, what they stand for or sit down for by their voting history, and we still let them walk the halls of our government. Watching my younger generations finally taking a stance and taking notice of our political issues and leadership needs is amazing right now. 

The Nucleus Family. 

Until there is a more solid legal way to regulate hate crimes in marriages, we are at a stand still on handling domestic violence, generational domestic abuse and all that entails. My family is not the traditional nucleus family portrayed on 75 years of media. I am proud of that. What I won't tolerate is anyone who uses the word family as a tool to control, violate, or abuse another individual. When family courts set aside certain crimes because of a marriage certificate, or a DNA test, then we will never truly  move forward in telling our children they are safe and can escape. This is a topic I could rant about for ages, just know that there are several variations of this type of trauma that I tackle in my stories. 

The Preacher Man.  

Whether you are christian, Buddhist, Hindu or Scientologist, you are accepted. Each individual has to find their own path and their own way to deal with daily stressors, moral issues, and mental well being. I personally believe that every mythos of gods or a god, the virtues of man, and the righteous path of man are interconnected in several ways. The idealization and fixation of those mythos is what takes down the religious leaders of our world. Their indisputable beliefs of a single interpretation can either be a real religious leadership or a cult like following. This is an underlying theme in my stories. How religion is twisted into a scientific following of misguided values.
